MIL-A-8625F TYPE II CLASS 1 AND 2

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that utilizes highly controlled oxidation to change the surface of the aluminum into a stronger more durable material. Advantages of anodizing include increased durability, stable long-lasting colors, low maintenance, and low cost. All of this takes place with a safe health-conscience process at our 1340 Howard St location.   CLASS 1 IS CLEAR CLASS 2  SPECIFIES A COLOR COLORS AVAILABLE ARE: RED, GOLD, GREEN, BLUE, AND BLACK

SURFACE IS HARD AND MORE ABRASION RESISTANT. IMPROVES THE CORROSION RESISTANCE OF ALUMINUM.  INSULATES THE ALUMINUM SURFACE AGAINST THE PASSAGE OF ELECTRICITY. ABILITY TO COLOR ALUMINUM BY ABSORBING DYE INTO ANODIC COATING. EFFECTIVE WAY TO INCREASE THE LIFE OF ALUMINUM PART ANODIZING IS A COST EFFECTIVE PROCESS
